After Manchester United went down 1-0 at home to Portsmouth, I rather thought the FA Cup was ours. Still nothing was further from the truth as we went down unbelievably 1-0 to Barnsley. We didn’t look up for it and seemed bereft of ideas, Anelka and Malouda failed to make any impact on the game at all. Flourent Malouda is a prime example of the club continuing to pay too much money for too many players that aren’t worth it.

Still the cloud this weekend did have a silver lining Arsenal failed to win at Wigan, although on current performances I doubt we’ll take advantage.
