It appears that Conservative Party chairman Caroline Spelman is being held to account because she used her staffing allowance to pay her nanny.
What exactly is the problem?

Something is wrong here; surely, childcare in this day and age is essential to any working family? In addition, as childcare responsibilities in this day still falls to women surely its just naked sexism.
Still, I’ve little sympathy for Spelman, for a start she’s a Tory, and secondly claiming her nanny’s a secretary, is blatant lying, getting your nanny to take a the odd phone call and pass on messages doesn’t make a nanny a secretary, well not in my book.
Still, what a way to encourage women into politics.
