I posted on the Wilshaw’s, the Couple who were raffling their home back in early September. Now it’s been halted – according to their website by the Gambling Commission. As far as I’m aware gambling debts are unenforceable – something about them being a debt of honour and can’t be processed through the courts – so I guess those who’ve taken a gamble had better hope they’ve not trousered the money under a veneer of respectability. Am I being nasty or cynical or both?
