Today is World Food Day, although for almost a billion people it’s another no-food day which is absolutely appalling taking the CIA’s World Factbook estimate of world population as at July this year of 6,706,993,152 (I’m not sure why they don’t just say 6.7 billion) that means 1 in 7 of the worlds population is dying of hunger. Puts the current financial crisis into perspective.
