The employment minister, Tony McNulty claimed £60,000 in overnight expenses for staying in Harrow East (red) when he lives in Hammersmith (yellow). These expenses are supposedly for MPs who live a considerable distance from Westminster (blue), not for the likes of McNulty – why on earth do we allow people like McNulty to become members of the Labour Party – I reckon it would be cheaper to buy up a hotel and allow MPs to stay free of charge.
