OK “T” not one of my clearest posts.
In my opinion Pizza Express has become the best place to eat in Gloucester.
Bearlands is not the place it once was and neither is Cafe Rene. As for Fosters well each to their own - personally it's little better than a Harvester, whilst I admit I rather like Prezzo although it does pack the dinners in and as for Vinings I'm not a fan of the all you can eat style of Indian food personally I'd rather eat at Hill Top in Worcester Street far better food.
As for Nando’s you’re welcome to touch it with your barge pole but you wouldn’t catch me dead in such a place.

So perhaps best restaurant was over the top however if I was to eat in Gloucester it would be either Pizza Express or Hill Top.

I have to say I’m looking forward to Kinnaree opening.

However, that still leaves Gloucester lacking any form of decent dining for that I travel to the Bell at Sapperton.

YMMV

Confused! Where does it state its the best restaurant in Gloucester, certainly not in the original news article. It just happens to be first to open in the Quays area with also Nando's opening yesterday. I believe there are about ten more due to open during 2010. One being 'Kinnaree' award winning restaurant very near the Mailbox in Birmingham.

Others restaurants up there include Bearlands (voted best Gloucestershire restaurant of the year recently), Cafe Rene, Fosters, Prezzo, Vinings Dining Freedom.
