If like me your work involves trying to identify what a font might be – and your stumped give WhatTheFont on the My Fonts website a go – it beats laboriously trying fonts one by one!

Newspaper Map is unsurprisingly a map of over 10,000 of the world’s newspapers – you can search or just browse through click a link and you’ll be taken straight to your selected papers website – or you can opt to have the page translated by Google – a pretty smart way of finding a local newspaper!

Web founder Tim Berners-Lee has unveiled his latest venture for the UK government, which offers the public better access to official data.

A new website, data.gov.uk, will offer reams of public sector data, ranging from traffic statistics to crime figures, for private or commercial use. Source: BBC.

Data.gov.uk is currently in beta but it certainly looks like becoming an invaluable source of government data.
